Shipping and delivery terms
The Ministry of Chocolate Australia Pty Ltd currently deliver Australia wide. Especially when purchasing gifts, please allow respectable lead time (at least a week) when ordering to ensure gifts can be sent and delivered timely. We work hard to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, however are not able to offer a same day delivery service, not guarantee next day turnaround.
Most parcels are sent via the Australia Post express network in order to keep transit times to a minimum. We are unable to take responsibility for delays in the postal network.
Orders are shipped on business days. We attempt to avoid our products being in transit over weekends where possible, to avoid unnecessary time in transit, which may compromise product quality. We avoid dispatching on Fridays and sometimes on Thursdays as well to avoid unneccessary time in transit.
The Ministry of Chocolate is unable to accept responsibility for delays on the part of courier services and shipping companies.
Redelivery charges apply where incorrect address/critical delivery details are submitted by the customer. Accuracy of entry when ordering is out of our control.
Shipping times may vary during peak gifting seasons, Christmas and Easter.

$15 shipping fee nationwide for orders below $99.
Local Pickup from Croydon
As an alternative to paying for delivery, we offer free in store pick up for website orders. This is available from our Croydon store. Upon placement of your order for pick up, we will be in contact with you when your order is ready for collection. Our hours of operation for collections are 8-4pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Take this into consideration when ordering. In some circumstances, products available on our website may have run out in store. If this is the case, we will advise you and offer a replacement item, however if this is unsuitable a refund will be given.
Returns policy
The Ministry of Chocolate Pty Ltd cannot exchange or refund goods due to the perishable nature of chocolate, so please order carefully.
Where an order is damaged during delivery, we undertake to replace any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition. If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us within 24 hours upon receiving the goods.
If we are unable at the time of return to replace or exchange returned goods, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited for the purchase including packaging and postage charges.
Payment options
All web orders are submitted on prepaid terms.
We currently accept payments for online sales via PayPal and Stripe. We do not store your credit card details in our database, they are instead stored with the payment gateway provider.
We are able to accept credit card payments by phone or email if you would prefer not to transact online. Please call or email us with your order in order to transact this way.
